Course Reflection

Professional practices is an important course that forms part of the interior design program. The course prepares you for not just becoming an interior designer, but also prepares you for the potential to begin to prepare to run your own business. As part of the course you are required to dive into the business side of becoming an interior designer and prepare letter of agreements, business plans, and begin to market your upcoming business. As a future designer I look forward to beginning my career working for a firm, but my intention is to run my own business. Taking this course helped me prepare for the future. The course is a great starter to begin to reflect on the required items and thoughts needed to prepare for becoming an independent interior designer.
